Everytime I see those black/blue line stickers on cars I think "Yay, kink pride! ... no wait... Just someone brown-nosing the police. :(" Those black/blue stickers are meant to garner mercy from police by showing support, right? If I were a cop, I'd see "flattering d-bag ...

Excited to set up a new media 'puter with Kubuntu 11.10. Upon installation (and logging in) screen went black and all I could see was the cursor. Found a great solution. Hit Clt+Alt+F1 to go into console, edit ~/.kde4/share/config/kwinrc and change [Composting] Enabled=true to [Composting] Enabled=false. This worked for me.

GOFFS DON'T DANCE!
Well, some do... but there is usually just ethereal swaying involved...
This comics first introduces "MiNK" (real name: Miho Nakayama), a perky, "cyber-goth" girl gamer geek of Japanese-descent. As you may remember (or will soon discover) she has a love for the fleshy robot known as Arron. In retrospect, it probably would have ...

Is Ethan a creative, imaginative genius... or just fucking insane?
This is the question I tend to explore throughout Disassemblance, as sometimes there is a very, very, paper-thin line between genius and insanity. Sometimes I just felt like being weird... and random... when I sat down to write Dis comics. So Ethan's odd imagination was the perfect ...

This comic came out in the hyper-(and hypocritical)-patriotism, post the 9/11 tragedy. This was a period of unquestioning, mindless national fanaticism that was born out of fear and bred xenophobia -- a hatred for everything that wasn't painting red, white and blue. As it does, consumerism ...

This interaction would become common in Disassemblance. I intentionally made Spike a Jewish character (and a secular one at that) to help contrast and act as not only a contrast to Trent, but also a spiritual support (as despite being a secular Jew himself, he has experience in the mentality and culture of the Abrahamic religions).
Now, would Jesus ...

FINALLY! We reach the comic that introduces two staples of what Disassemblance was about for many years: Trent (Williams) and the faceless Christian Clones.
Most of Disassemblance's infancy was during a time in my life that I not only faced my own personal spiritual exploration, but found myself surrounded by a lot of Christian influences, both good and ...

Poor Ethan. As I mentioned in the previous comic's commentary Ethan's music isn't just bad... it could be considered a dangerous weapon. Of course, Ethan likes to spin it that it's just so experimental, so avant garde, that it is simply beyond most people's tastes. And maybe he's right... or it's just crap and he's ...

The very first running w/ glue comic... and actually, the first comic I ever did WAAAAAY back in 2001. So while running w/ glue has always been my "side-project" to Disassemblance, it technically predates Disassemblance. (It was around this time that I first thought up Disassemblance... notably in lieu of a suicide ...
I have created a special "mini" category on the site as a place to put some of my more worthwhile Twitter tweets and Facebook updates. This will include things that I feel are important to include in this on this "site of me." I tweet... a lot. So I will be selective in the things that I include on the site. This category will also be other quick notes and random Twitter-esque thoughts that I ...

Introducing Spike (Real name: Sydney Diamond) . The young punk rocker for a total disregard for mainstream music. He was brought into the strip to be a rather care-free, less serious, anti-establishment character. Another musician to act as a counter-point to Ethan's own musical pursuits. Spike actually has musical talent (as far as punk music goes, at ...

The faucet dripped into the clogged sink of a tiny, dirty bathroom in some forgotten rest-stop, off some largely forgotten stretch of highway. Elona blinked back into consciousness and pushed herself up off the tiled floor; her long red hair pulling slightly as it was mired in something beneath her. Elona looked about, blinking several more times. Everything looked very different; a haze hung ...
Not more than a moment after the razorblade graced her wrist, did Emily’s world change forever.
Her eyes wandered away from her wound. As she looked around, the sterile façade of the bathroom began to twist and contort. The walls seemed to bend inward – collapsing upon her. Contrast increased, and the dark shadows in the corners of the room turned absolute black, while the lights surged ...
Master Zu was out for a walk in the valley forest that rests far below the temple. Before long, he came across a battle-weary warrior who was sitting next to a stream. The warrior was crying with great force and washing his hands in the stream with great ferocity. Master Zu asked the warrior why he was so upset.
"Our land is at war! I have fought in many of these battles! I have ...
